Overview: The Bear Cave provides analysis, commentary, and curated links on the short world. Every Sunday the free newsletter covers new activist short campaigns, SEC Enforcement actions, and shares some exclusive research. Paid subscribers also receive two well-researched, off-the-beaten-path investigations. Investigations are published on the first and third Thursday every month at 10:30am ET and typically cover U.S. companies with market capitalizations between $1 billion and $5 billion.

The investigations for paid subscribers focus on serious problems the market is missing such as false or misleading statements by management, disclosure issues, accounting issues, SEC comment letters, changes in revenue recognition policies, public litigation, executive turnover, and complaints obtained through FOIA requests.

Dorsey and The Bear Cave were recently profiled in Institutional Investor.
